My name is Courtney Disposti, and I am the founder and owner of 2nd Mouse Media, LLC, a web development and online services company I launched in 2010. Through 2nd Mouse Media, I help business owners build, improve, and maintain strong online presences for their brands.
In addition to client work, I lead two in-house projects: When Do I Go?, a predictive tool that provides daily time estimates for equestrian events, and HipHendo, a community initiative focused on highlighting the character and appeal of Hendersonville and Henderson County, North Carolina.
This blog is where I share my perspective on web development, digital strategy, and the evolving tools that shape online business. It is a place to explore practical ideas, industry trends, and lessons I have learned through years of hands-on experience building on the web.
My educational background includes a Master of Science in Nutrition with a concentration in Public Health Nutrition from Appalachian State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from Queens University of Charlotte, an Associate in Applied Science in Computer Programming from Wake Technical Community College, an Associate in Applied Science in Web Technologies from Wake Tech, and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Raritan Valley Community College.
When I am not working, I enjoy road and trail running, yoga, gardening, hiking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. I split my time between Western North Carolina and Northwestern Lower Michigan.
